Kirk A. King was born at Greene County Memorial Hospital in 1965. He is a graduate of Waynesburg Central High
School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Waynesburg College in 1987. In 1991,
Kirk received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. King was admitted to the Pennsylvania
Bar in December of 1991. Prior to returning to Greene County, he clerked for Judge Richard Lamb in the Circuit
Court, Kalamazoo County, Michigan. He began practicing law with Floyd King and Bill Nalitz in Waynesburg,
Pennsylvania in 1992. He also practiced with the late William M. Baily for nearly ten years.
Kirk is married and has three children. In his spare time, he contributes to his community in a variety of ways.
An avid sports fan, he coaches youth baseball and basketball. He also contributes financially to numerous sports and
charitable organizations.
As a member of the Waynesburg First Church of the Nazarene, Kirk teaches the Children's Church class.
Kirk's the solicitor
for Central Greene School District, First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County, Domestic Relations section
of Greene County, and several of the local municipalities. He was a member of the Greene County Planning Commission
for eight years. He is a past president of the Greene County Bar Association, and currently serves on the United Way
Board of Directors and the Greene County Memorial Hospital Foundation Board. The firm is a member of the Waynesburg
Area Chamber of Commerce.
Kirk
regularly attends conferences and seminars to stay current on new regulations and laws concerning his areas of practice.
He strives to remain up-to-date on the issues and news and changes so that he can effectively represent his clients.
